![]() ![]() Very Disappointed by Vestiaire Collective I am sick thinking I will have to keep a bag that’s broken that I spent thousands of dollars on and they’ll do nothing about it. Their solution was for me to just re-sell the $3,000 bag and that because I took the tag off I must have been satisfied. The only way to contact them is via email or chat, which you will have to wait hours or days for a response. Customer service for this company is awful. I didn’t know to check for an issue that wasn’t in the product listing when I received the bag. When I looked closer, it appears that the piping inside the handle is faulty, causing excessive strain on the stitching of the handle. However after only 3 uses, the handle broke. The bag appeared in good shape upon receiving it so I took the tag off. I assumed since the company checked the product before sending it, I would have no issues. I purchased a Dior Book Tote from Vestiaire as I liked the idea of saving a bit of money and buying a bag that was gently used. Horrible customer service, no guarantee of product I will still buy and sell of Vestiaire as it was the seller who was at fault. #Vestiaire collective updateUPDATE Vestiaire have said they are issuing a refund. Do not use this site as when goods are fake cheap imitations you get no customer service help whatsoever. Doing your own research into the product and buying in good faith. If no action is taken I’m going to take this a lot further. In this time of living crisis going in the UK, to rip customers off is absolutely diabolical. Again she could not believe “further proof” is needed. She has modelled for campaigns such as Celine, LV and Burberry thus being given goods as presents when the campaign is finished. I sent Vestiaire several photos of all the faults yet they have sent me a message asking for further proof!!! I’m disgusted that someone can take my £165 for a rag costing about £2.50 at the most to make up in minutes on a sewing machine. I reached to the seller who them blocked my messages when I told her I wanted a refund immediately. And Velcro straps no buckles are buttons whatsoever. I paid £165 for basically a cheap imitation polyester rag with terrible stitching, sewn on labels, no lining even though all kilts are lined. ![]() I’ve bought and sold many pieces of designer goods on Vestiaire. I purchased a Burberry wool skirt and it arrived today. I just wanted new sunglasses for summer and now I have lost over a 100€ and I still have no sunglasses. They also never got back to me on the chat which was promised. It has now been more than 5 business days…. Finally I got a similar message that said that the refund has been issued and that I will receive it in 5 business days. They sent so many apologies but nothing that helped the situation. This time they said there was an issue with the refund and they will handle it. They told me that it will take 5 business days for the amount to be reflected on my account. Apparently the glasses arrived broken to Vestiaire and they asked me if I still wanted them or if I want a refund. They told me that they will get me an update about the glasses. After two weeks I contacted customer service and they responded quite quickly. I noticed that I didn’t receive any updates after the glasses arrived to authentication. I ordered Gucci sunglasses almost two months ago for summer. This is so bad! This company is stealing and cheating customers out of money by changing the currencies behind their back. ![]() I asked to cancel the order, they answered they could not do anything but try to reach out to the seller. They just denied the issue, did not take any responsibility, and just ignored my refund request. Since I have a US bank account, I used my US card and billing address but immediately reached out to the support to get a refund of the price difference. I did not immediately notice that from euros to dollars, there was a difference of more than $60. But this is not the most surprising part! The climax of my customer experience happened when the price (that I was supposed to pay in euros) magically switched in dollars on the invoice. Moreover, there was no option available for installment payments as advertised on their website so the only option was payment upfront with card or Alipay. I made an offer to a seller, which was accepted in EUROS! Once at the checkout page, PayPal was offered as a method of payment but this option was disabled and I could not click on it. Price was displayed in Euros since it's the currency on my account. Terrible first (and last) experience on this website. ![]()
